  1. All Files and documentation

  2. Installable Wordpress Theme File

If you select to download all files and documentation ( the zip name will be themeforest-xxx-xxxxx.zip ), you have to extract it out ( to get themename-vxx_xx.zip file ) before installing it to wordpress system.
Install theme via Wordpress Dashboard

User Roles & Profiles
WordPress uses a concept of Roles, designed to give the site owner the ability to control what users can and cannot do within the site.

A site owner can manage the user access to such tasks as writing and editing posts, creating Pages, defining links, creating categories, moderating comments, managing plugins,

managing themes, and managing other users, by assigning a specific role to each of the users.

User roles
There are five user roles:

Administrator - has complete control over all administrative options and features.

Editor - has access to all posts and pages and can review posts submitted by contributors.

Author - can write and publish their own posts.

Contributor - has no right to publish posts but can write and edit their own blog posts.

Subscriber/Follower - can read and comment on the blog posts and pages.

Changing user role
Only the Administrator of the blog has the right to change other users roles.

1) Go to the Users > All Users.

2) Select the user you want and select the desired role from the Change role to… dropdown.

3) Click the Change button.

Removing users
Only the Administrator of the blog can remove users from your website.

1) Go to the Users > All Users.

2) Hover the username you want to remove, and click the Delete link.

Users Profile
1) Go to the Users > Your Profile.

2) Your Profile options are separated in 4 sections as follows:

Personal Options - different options regarding your experience using WordPress.

Name - lets you change the name and nickname and how your name is displayed publicly.

Contact Info - let you set an email and website.

About Yourself - use the options in this section in order to add your bio and change your password. Note that the bio is shown publicly.

General Wordpress Settings
The General Settings page controls some of the most basic configuration settings for your site: your site's title and location,

who may register an account at your site, and how dates and times are calculated and displayed.

Site Title - lets you enter the name of your site (or blog).

Tagline - your sites's slogan, or short phrase, or sentence, used to convey the essence of the site and is often funny or eye-catching.

WordPress Address (URL) - the full URL of the directory containing your WordPress core application files (e.g., wp-config.php, wp-admin, wp-content, and wp-includes). For example, if you installed WordPress into a directory called "blog", then the WordPress address would be http://example.net/blog (where example.net is your domain). If you installed WordPress into your web root, this address will be the root URL http://example.net.

Site Address (URL) - the address you want people to type in their browser to reach your WordPress site. This is the directory where WordPress's main index.php file is installed. The Site address (URL) is identical to the WordPress address (URL) (above) unless you are giving WordPress its own directory.

E-mail Address - the e-mail address to which you want WordPress to send messages regarding the administration and maintenance of your WordPress site. For example, if you allow new users to register as a member of your site (see Membership below), then a notification will be sent through e-mail to this address.

Membership - check this checkbox if you want anyone to be able to register an account on your site.

New User Default Role - this pull-down box allows you to select the default Role that is assigned to new users. More about users and available roles can be found in this article.

Timezone - lets you select your timezone, choose a city that is in the same timezone as you are.

Date Format - the format in which to display dates on your site.

Time Format - the format in which to display times on your site.

Week Starts On - lets you select your preferred start date for WordPress calendars from the drop-down box, Monday being the default setting.

Site Language - the WordPress dashboard language.

Child Theme

To create child theme
If you don't want to modify the theme files every time you update the theme, you have to create the child theme to modify the php code for this. You can find the tutorial about how to create the child theme here

Our theme wrap every function with if( !function_exists('some_function') ) command, so if you want to use any function, just declare it in the function.php file of the child theme and it'll overwrite the existing one.

A child theme is a theme that inherits the functionality of another theme, called the parent theme. Child themes allow you to modify, or add to the functionality of that parent theme. A child theme is the best, safest, and easiest way to modify an existing theme, whether you want to make a few tiny or extensive changes. By keeping your customization in a child theme you can always keep the parent theme up-to-date without losing your modification.

Unzip it into /wp-content/themes/ folder. There is nothing specific about child theme functioning it works the same as a standard WP child theme. You can find more information here:

Besides the default templates (header.php, footer.php, page templates, etc.), if you want to modify any core functions from ../THEME-NAME/inc/helpers.php, template-hooks.php, etc, copy the entire function which you want to modify to your child themes functions.php and edit it there.

Copy Parent theme setting to Child

When activating a child theme, settings are reverted to default. So if you decide to use a child theme later (after configuring a parent theme), please use Theme options > Import & export to transfer settings.

How should I update the Mandatory Plugins
It is very important that you update the plugins that are used in the theme.

This includes both the Mandatory and the Optional ones. As part of theme updates, we will be including the latest version of the plugins (as required) in the package within a folder named plugins.

In your installation, you need to delete the existing version of the plugin, and install and activate the latest ones from the folder.

Can I include my own fonts in the list of fonts available?
Unfortunately, it is not possible to include your own fonts along with the other fonts in the Options Panel. However, it is possible if you activate the Child theme.
